does marriage help a tennis player to succeed on the court ???
A Look at the track record of some of ‘tennis star’ marriages.....

Bjorn Borg, the 5-time Wimbledon champion, had a turbulent relationship with his wife, before getting a divorce. That was partly to blame for: he suffered a drug overdose and was rumored to have attempted suicide.

Andre Agassi had a rocky two year marriage with Hollywood actress, Brook Shields, ending in a divorce.

John McEnroe (Yes, him – you could have never guessed), married and divorced Tatum O’Neal in 1992 and married musician Patty Smith in 1997. He has six children – three with O’Neal, two with Smith, and one from Smith’s previous marriage to rock star Richard Hell – what a mess.

Jimmy Connors was engaged to Chris Evert in 1974, but the wedding planned was called off and ripped us off another divorce. Connors is still married to model Patti McGuire.

But Chris Evert kept the tradition alive. She married British tennis player, John Lloyd in 1979. They divorced in1987. She went for the second dip with Olympic skier Andy Mill in 1988 and had three sons with him, and then screwed them all, by getting a divorce in 2006. Reason for divorce: affair with Australian golfer Greg Norman!!! At least she gave everyne three flavors.

Justine Henin married Pierre-Yves Hardenne in a castle in 2002. She separated from her husband, in January  and came back to win two titles. Maybe it is a good thing!!!

Serena and Venus Williams’s parents divorced last year and was the big reason for the absence of the sisters from the tour. Your heart has to go out to their father, who nurtured them both, to these huge stars from childhood. And you look at the players box, you see Serena’s mother and other sisters all together, and on the top of the stadium, all by himself, with a camera is Richard, their father – all alone. Heartbreaking.

With all that already in the books, Kim Clisters has cut short her promising career to ’settle down’ and start a family.

Now talking abt successful relations,well.....
who could forget agassi and steffi....two legends of the game who've decided to spend their future together and are doing it pretty fine....
then we have the hewitt and beck....still doing grt....and finally nthgs big than fedex....right....

so here's d ques...does marriage in anyway bring about more success to a tennis player or has it only added to one's failures on the court......
