David Eckstein impersonates the entire Cardinals lineup
READ MORE:

What's that? Oh, sorry. I'm told it's not Eckstein, just some 5-year old doing what we all loved to do as kids (ok fine, I still do it now) ... impersonating the entire lineup of our favorite team.

This begs the question -- who was your favorite batting stance to mimmick as a grown adult kid? For those that played baseball growing up, did you actually adapt the stance of your favorite player?

I'm certain I broke Roger Maris home run record in my living room with Andre Dawson. And who didn't have fun with Julio Franco then ... and now. I also was quite fond of the Tony Pena catcher stance.

I haven't played any baseball in a long time, but my favorite stance has got to be Craig Counsells.  The guy lifts the freakin bat all the way over his head!

Eric Davis... no doubt about it.  I probably wiggled the bat around and swung as hard as I could about a million times.  Also, Cecil Fielder was one of favorites because he took such a big step when he swung.  I also liked (and yes you are reading this correctly) Mickey Tettleton.  He would turn almost all the way around and look over his right shoulder... Classic!

That is great.   We used to play ball in the street after school until the sun went down.  I remember trying to impersonate many players.  My favorite when I was little was the Oakland A's line-up.  McGuire, Conseco, Henderson, Lansford.....it was fun.  I don't know if I looked like them, but I felt like I looked like them.

In the words of Chris Farley in Billy Madison... That is correct!
