From Randball comes this gem: The Red Sox are making/selling wine for Charity. No, seriously. Being a bit of a wino myself, I find this incredibly hysterical. Check this out. There's Schilling Schardonnay: Estate-grown and hand-crafted, this unoaked chardonnay shows lively flavors and aromas of apricots, apples and tropical fruits. Crisp and medium bodied, this well-balanced white pairs well with salads, pasta, fish and chicken.
Wakefield's CaberKnuckle: This estate grown, hand-crafted cabernet sauvignon shows a deep red color with aromas of blackberries, currants and a hint of spice. With its long smooth finish, this well-balanced red matches perfectly with grilled meats, burgers, pasta and pizza.
Last but not least, Manny Being Merlot. I'll let you take care of the description on this one.
Should any other major leaguers come out with a wine?
