Today's college football schedule has some great late games, including the much-anticipated matchup between Oklahoma and Miami. There aren't any high-profile games like that early in the day, but there are some excellent conference games, highlighted by the always entertaining Michigan-Michigan State game, and then #4 LSU tries to prove that they are for real, as they take #18 Georgia. LSU hasn't exactly looked impressive so far, and it wouldn't surprise me if Georgia pulls off the upset at home.

Here's today's schedule for ranked teams, and nationally televised games:

12:00pm EST
#22 Michigan at Michigan State
Wisconsin at Minnesota [ESPN]
#6 Virginia Tech at Duke
Arkansas State at #13 Iowa [ESPN2]
#3 Alabama at Kentucky

1:00pm EST
#10 Cincinnati vs Miami (OH)

3:30pm EST
UCLA at Stanford [ABC]
#4 LSU at #18 Georgia [CBS]
Washington at Notre Dame [NBC]
Florida State at Boston College [ABC]
#15 Penn State at Illinois [ABC]

Don't forget to make your game picks on our NCAA Football Pick 'Em Page. And as always, enjoy the games!

I didn't see anything excessive from EITHER team there! Those 2 penalties just forked up that whole game!
You know the officials messed up by calling the Georgia one, that's why LSU got one after the scored.

I actually have a Saturday to just watch football! Yay! Will probably flip between Michigan/MSU and Bama/KY, then it will be VERY hard to choose between the great matchups at 3:30

Michigan needs to win today, and set up the prime time match-up next weekend @ Iowa.
Michigan must control both lines of scrimmage, and allow thie talented playmakers on offense do their thing.

I alsao like Georgia @ home over LSU, Wisconsin over Minnesota, and Florida State over BC...sorry Pat, but theses are games that FSU wins...the one's they should not.  Also, i like Penn State to come back and win @ Illinois.
One more thing...Go Blue.!

This Michigan game is getting ugly for RichRod and company... down by 2 TD's early in the 4th... the Forcier is not strong with this team right now.

Every year Wisconsin seems to be able to plug a running back in to there system and have success.  Clay is a beast and is taking over against Minnesota

The Dukies are holding there own against Virginia Tech.... down by 4 with 11 minutes left in the 4th quarter

Wisconsin goes to there backup running back and he fumbles.  Minnesota recovers and returns it for a touchdown and then gets the 2 point conversion.  24-20 Wisconsin

John Clay is at least a legitimately good college player. P.J. Hill just benefitted from the system.

Excellent play call by the Badgers.  Run, run, run, run up the middle and then hit the defense with the naked bootleg for a gain of over 40 yards.  I wish Illinois had an offensive coordinator who understood how to call plays like this

These Big 10 Network announcers suck big time. Good game though

I am waiting for one of these Big 10 Network announcers to scream "BECAUSE HE DIDN'T HOLD ANYTHING BACK!"

Ugh.. Minnesota has the ball with just under 2 mins on their own 5.  Thank goodness Adam Weber is awful.

Thank goodness the Gopher's offensive line is awful

That too.  I don't get why on the drive before we were laying back and trying to stop Decker and Stoudermire when its so much easier to put pressure on Weber.

I always thought Weber was more mobile then what I saw today.  He had plenty of chances to take off and run and didnt

The ESPN crew was really pounding Minnesota's new commitment to a more pro-style offense.  I wonder if staying in the pocket as long as possible is a part of this.

I agree with you my friend! Go Dawgs!  Good luck to your team!

Illinois continues to be its own worse enemy with dumb mistakes and suspect playcalling deep in Penn State territory.  Head to the half against Penn State down 7-3

10/3/09

Penn State about to go up 21-3, more then enough points to be an Illini team with an offense that ranks in the 100's in scoring.

Washington Huskies answer the Notre Dame field goal with a touchdown and go up 24-19

They really are the ultimate Jekel and Hyde team. One week they look like world beaters then the next week they look like a team that has never played before.

Huge goal line stand by the Irish defense

How many yards does Penn State have to run for before Illinois will make some type of adjustment?  I swear, Ron Zook is the worse game day coach I've ever seen.  I thought he got a raw deal when Florida got rid of him but after watching the decline of the Illinois football program in the last year and a half, I think Florida knew what they were doing.

If Notre Dame didnt have a field goal kicker, they'd be down by by 17 points right now

I wonder if Lou Holtz is going to rethink his pick of the Irish being in a BCS bowl?

I dont mean to pick on your team but I saw more celebrating from Notre Dame after they scored there last touchdown then I did from Georgia or LSU when they got flagged.  I dont mind if officials are going to call that penalty but somewhere along the lines, there has to be some kind of consistency.  As I see it, the officials played too much of a part in deciding who won that Georgia/LSU game

LSU won, but there are still some question marks. I love my Tigers, but I'm still not sure about them.

Unfortunately for Syracuse, Greg Paulus put forth a very  Delhommian effort against South Florida

During a key moment during Norte Dame/Washington, the local NBC cut to commercials...after cutting from commercial, it came back for 5 seconds, then cut to Wheel of Fortune, before finally returning to the game. My brother (ND fan) head "a sploded" as a result.

Not picking Scott, that is ABSOLUTELY true and I said it in the late thread. I think that call burned the Dawgs, and ND sure did a lot more in their game!

I mean this is college folks, gotta  give these kids some room here, geesh!

I agree George, LSU hasnt been as impressive as I expected in their last 2 outings, right now, Georgia is scaring me a little bit more, except we are going into Lousiiana. BTW, I just noticed that we are supposed to be 'Bitter Rivals" ROTFL

I agree the call was bad, but for the record I think that Scot was gone and the 15 yards would not have made any difference

Hahahahaha! I really don't care about this... Michigan still lead to MSU - Won 67/ Lost 30 / tie 5. MSU can't reach to pass 67 for a long time. I am not worrying about this. smile! BUT Michigan and MSU were playing good games! I watched the news - NCAAF... I am enjoy to watch all of teams on t.v., I love to watch football all the times. I like PSU and FSU and another teams! Thumb up! to NCAAF Team's fans!
