Dan Patrick is Leaving ESPN on August 17th

Finally we got an answer from Dan Patrick, and it was what we guessed. He'll be leaving the network on August 17th to pursue some new options.

Dan essentially just said he needed something new, was "taking the job for granted" and it has nothing to do with any bad feelings about ESPN.

There is a great deal of speculation about Patrick taking over the morning show at WFAN. I've always been a big DP and would like to see him continue his radio show at the very least.

0	Ok, Both Rosie and Dan Patrick are not going to be hosts. Dan told listeners of WFAN that he was not going to audition. Rosie took her name out of consideration.
