That was the quote yesterday from Chargers head coach Marty Schottenheimer following LaDainian Tomlinson record breaking 29th touchdown. Bold comment, but I'm starting to believe it's 100% accurate.
Let me first say, isn't it nice that the best player in the game only draws attention to himself by his breath-taking performances ON THE FIELD? LT is everything the NFL should be about. In post game interview Tomlinson made sure this wasn't about him, it was about the Chargers and that they "should all enjoy this together." It's these actions that make him even greater in my eyes.
LT has 29 touchdowns with 3 games remaining. As I mentioned earlier this morning, this record will NEVER be broken by anyone other than himself. Sanders and Emmitt have all the yards, Jim Brown could have and Walter was as sweet as they come.
