Manchester United To Bid For David Silva.

 Sunday, September 20, 2009 -- Premier League champions and European giants Manchester United launched a bid for the Valencia winger David Silva, according to reports.  

The Sunday Express reports that United manager Sir Alex Ferguson wants to sign the 23-year-old Spanish international from Spanish club Valencia in January and is willing to spend as much as 28 million euros.

It's been reported that United did try and lure Silva from Valencia in the summer of 2008 but the player decided to stay back at the Mestalla.
