Tonight, it was top-ranked Indiana losing to unranked Minnesota, 77-73.

The Hoosiers led by 4 at the half, but were outscored 47-39 in the second half, which was their undoing.

This is their 3rd loss this season as the #1 seed, and only their 4th loss overall.

Their other losses while ranked #1 were an 88-86 OT loss to Butler and a 74-72 loss to Indiana.

Other #1 seeds to lose this year were Duke twice (84-76 against NC State and a 90-63 blowout against Miami), Kansas (85-80 against Oklahoma State), and Louisville (70-68 against Syracuse).

This will likely result in the 8th change at the top of the USA Today/Coaches poll this season. Indiana was #1 for 2 weeks in a row, following 7 straight weeks with a different #1 team.

This should make for a pretty amazing tournament, since there really aren't any teams that could be considered even remotely unbeatable.

Even with the loss, Indiana will probably end up with a #1 seed in the tourney, and will be one of the favorites, along with Duke and a few others.

Who do you think will win the tournament? Will it be more chalk than the regular season, or will it be loaded with upsets? Let us know what you think.
