Today's huge Big 12 matchup is top-ranked Texas takes on #6 Oklahoma State, in a game that could determine who goes to the Big 12 championship game at the end of the season.
Oklahoma State has been in the news for more than football lately, as their biggest booster's donation has been suffering the effects of the poor economy. For the Longhorns, they are facing one more elite conference opponent. This is their 3rd straight game against a top-11 opponent, and they won the first two (against Oklahoma and Missouri) rather convincingly.
If nothing else, this one will be an exciting game between two of the best offenses in the country. Both teams move the ball extremely well, but both also showed that they can buckle down and play strong defense when necessary. Every other time they have been ranked and played Texas, Oklahoma State has never beaten the Longhorns. This year, there's a great chance of that trend reversing, but the Cowboys will have to play nearly flawlessly to pull it off, as some people think this could be Mack Brown's best team ever.89% are picking the Longhorns to keep their #1 with a win. I'm going to go with the slightly biased pick, and say OSU wins a shootout, 45-42. We'll see how that works out.
