Every day, extreme athletes are attempting crazier and crazier tricks. Whether it's Travis Pastrana's double backflip on a dirt bike or Shaun White's absurd snowboarding exploits, limits are pushed everywhere.

The latest: 12 year old skateboarder Tom Schaar has pulled off the first ever 1080 on a skateboard. Check it out:

This is kind of insane, but at the same time, it makes sense that a young kid would be able to pull it off. Kids are fearless, and can bounce back right away and try again after they fall. Their knees aren't sore (yet) and they can keep skating almost all day, since they never get tired.

Still, it's a crazy impressive feat for this kid, and I look forward to seeing what else he's able to pull off in the future.

Remember that name, Tom Schaar.  It's been a long time since Tony Hawk, so he will always be first, but I'm betting this kid will be BEST!  We are going to hear lots about him in the future, I have no doubts.  That was awesome!
