Sergio Garcia leads the 2007 British Open at 6-under after a back nine 31. Garcia benefited from a significantly easier course in the late afternoon.
Highlight of day was clearly John Daly's emphatic rise to the top and typical Daly collapse. He just can't help getting in the way of himself. Daly chipped in an eagle on the 11th to reach the lead at 5-under. 45 minutes later he was back at even par. The big man now sits at 3-over in 87th place.
Tiger Woods sits at 4 strokes back after a fairly well played round early in the day when conditions were cold, wet and windy. Ideal for golf, right?
