My take on the teams who took the biggest steps back on draft night ...Boston Celtics/Celtics Fans/Danny Ainge
No loser list concerning the NBA is complete without the Celtics. There is a faction, a small one, that believe Ray Allen and Paul Pierce are a good enough tandem to do damage in the East. Keep drinking your Irish Whiskey. Even throwing out Szcisorkick and Delonte West; Jeff Green for Ray Allen is a hose job by the Sonics. What the Celtics need to do is build a young base. What they got is an aging SG (who I do like) that hasn't won a lot of games in the NBA. He'll be in similar company. I do like the add of Glen Davis.
Milwaukee Bucks
Not only did they draft the biggest bust (IMO), they drafted a guy who has ZERO desire to play in Wisconsin. NBA players already have enough problems struggling for motivation with their paychecks, so good luck with that.
Charlotte Bobcats
I'm a big Jason Richardson fan, but that's because I love everything Michigan State. That said, trading Brandan Wright away for the shooting guard just doesn't seem right. Richardson displayed his explosiveness in the playoffs, but he also let us know he's not someone that will carry a team on his shoulders. We'll see, I wasn't high on Wright, but long term upside is higher with him.
Me
Joakim F-ing Noah. How do I learn to root for the guy? Seriously, I need help with this. Is it ok to hate a player on your favorite team?
