2008 NFL Draft (and Drinking Game) Live Thread
Since Miami and St. Louis have spoiled the first 20 minutes of our fun (at least it's not 30), countless rumors are swirling about who will go No. 3.

Chris Mortensen tells us that Matt Ryan is the choice. Then again, if Mort told me the sun was expected to rise in the East tomorrow, I'd have some serious doubts.

How far could Glenn Dorsey fall in this scenario? How will the Bears screw this up? Is there a possibility the Jets actually hit a homerun with their 6th overall pick?

Many questions to be answered, and many beverages to consume. It's time to get this NFL Draft party started. Hopefully your fridge is stocked full.

Here's your drinking game options, I'll probably just go ahead and play both.

Option 1

-Every time a Chris Berman nickname references a song that’s over 20 years old…drink twice!
-Every time you hear the word “spygate”…drink!
-Every time Jets or Eagles fans boo a pick…drink!
-Every time Emmitt Smith uses a word that isn’t actually a word…drink!

-Every time you see a commercial starring Peyton Manning…drink!
-Every time you see a commercial starring Peyton and Eli Manning…drink twice!
- Every time Chris Mortensen "breaks" a story that eventually never happens and wasn't even remotely close to being accurate ... drink!
- Every time Todd McShay and Mel Kiper get into a heated preschool disagreement ... drink once!
- If Mel Kiper actually makes the better point ... drink twice!
- Every time you hear the term "reach" ... reach for your beer and drink!
- Every time you see a draft prospect at home with his family pretending to be on the phone ... drink once! Drink twice if the girlfriend, baby momma ... or sister is hot.

Option 2
(CF endorsed)

- Predict the draft pick in the first 30 seconds the team is on the clock.
- If you're incorrect ... finish half of your beer/fresca, whatever it is you choose. We used to abide by the full beer penalty, but we're getting older and the 5 minute reduction in time puts a dent into it's feasibility. Plus, we enjoy being awake for Round 2.

Feel free to partake, or just comment along with us.

There's talk that the Ravens could move up to #2 to take Matt Ryan.

Yeah, shouldn't effect the Raiders at all. Just like how Travis Henry had to take a loan out from the Titans to pay off child support for his nine illegitimate kids had no effect at all. Except for him getting traded.

It's just surprising and judging from Roy's quotes, he he seemed really surprised as well. There usually aren't many players that test the waters that drop out although this year there are so many players testing that I am sure a big chunk will go back to school. It's surprising because it came out of no where and it's not like he is projected to make in the first round or even be drafted. Hopefully he is going for the workouts to gain experience and see what NBA scouts want in a player.

I'd be really surprised if Branden Albert drops further than Denver.
