We all know that Blake Griffin will be the #1 overall pick, but the rest of the 2009 NBA Draft is pretty much the biggest crapshoot that we've seen in a long time. This is one of those years where no one has any idea what's going to happen until... well... until it actually happens.

You can watch the 2009 NBA Draft on ESPN, where the pre-Draft coverage starts at 7pm EST, and the actual Draft begins at 7:30.

If you're watching, chat it up here. I'll be posting updates as it happens, but give your thoughts on each pick, and feel free to give analysis and predictions whenever you feel like it.

You can start by telling us who you think will be the biggest bust from this year's draft class. And as the draft moves along, let us know whether each pick will be a bust, or if it was a good pick.

Enjoy the Draft, and stick around until the end! Here's the draft order (so far):

1. Los Angeles Clippers - Blake Griffin, F, Oklahoma
2. Memphis Grizzlies - Hasheem Thabeet, C, Connecticut
3. Oklahoma City Thunder - James Harden, G, Arizona State
4. Sacramento Kings - Tyreke Evans, G, Memphis
5. Minnesota Timberwolves (from Washington) - Ricky Rubio, G, Spain
6. Minnesota Timberwolves - Jonny Flynn, G, Syracuse
7. Golden State Warriors - Stephen Curry, G, Davidson
8. New York Knicks - Jordan Hill, F, Arizona
9. Toronto Raptors - DeMar DeRozan, G, USC
10. Milwaukee Bucks - Brandon Jennings, G, Italy
11. New Jersey Nets - Terrence Williams, F, Louisville
12. Charlotte Bobcats - Gerald Henderson, G, Duke
13. Indiana Pacers - Tyler Hansbrough, F, North Carolina
14. Phoenix Suns - Earl Clark, F, Louisville
15. Detroit Pistons - Austin Daye, F, Gonzaga
16. Chicago Bulls - James Johnson, F, Wake Forest
17. Philadelphia 76ers - Jrue Holiday, G, UCLA
18. Minnesota Timberwolves (from Miami) - Ty Lawson, G, North Carolina
19. Atlanta Hawks - Jeff Teague, G, Wake Forest
20. Utah Jazz - Eric Maynor, G, VCU
21. New Orleans Hornets - Darren Collison, G, UCLA
22. Portland Trail Blazers (from Dallas) - Victor Claver, F, Spain
23. Sacramento Kings (from Houston) - Omri Casspi, F, Israel
24. Dallas Mavericks (from Portland) - BJ Mullens, C, Ohio State
25. Oklahoma City Thunder (from San Antonio) - Rodrique Beaubois, G, Guadaloupe
26. Chicago Bulls (from Denver through Oklahoma City) - Taj Gibson, F, USC
27. Memphis Grizzlies (from Orlando) - DeMarre Carroll, F, Missouri
28. Minnesota Timberwolves (from Boston) - Wayne Ellington, G, North Carolina

It's the Blake Griffin and the everyone else show.  But seriously, for how short it is (2 rounds) does any league have a higher ratio of busts?  I expect the lottery teams to remain relatively unchanged next year, but Blake Griffin and the Clips may swap places with whoever ends up playing for the Suns next year.

I can't wait for the Stephen A. heckling gentlemen to do their yearly draft vid, that's what makes the Draft great.  (Sadly, no SAS and it's the last year they're doing it)

Well the Clips actually have a decent group of players, just a crappy coach and cheap owner.

I agree.  If the team can stay healthy, then that solid core may have a chance at making up for the notoriously cheap owner and the terrible coaching down in Clippertown.  I just hope Blake Griffin's young career doesn't have to suffer too much at the hands of those two.

If they can move some pieces I'd buy that.  Right now they are going to have some pissed off players if they stand pat.

What's funny is that the 76ers have been and are seriously trying to trade Elton Brand.  Maybe it would've been better for all parties (or just Baron Davis) if he had re-signed with the Clippers last year.

Without a doubt. He doesn't fit in Philly, and obviously his exit from LA really screwed over the Clippers.

Steph Curry is a good pick but not a top 10 pick.

I think he's one of the safest picks though.  If I just wanted to take someone I knew could produce, I'd take him in the top 10.

I agree.  Shooters will always have a place in the league, whether or not Curry can do more than that will be found out over his first year or so.

Judging from this year's crop, the order of advantage is:

1. Clippers
2. Memphis
3. Oklahoma City
4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, & 10. Houston, Washington, Denver, San Antonio, Miami, Boston, and the Lakers, with NO PICKS.

Because Mark Jackson wants to see some "grown man moves" from the college to the pros.  JVG wants to size up Thabeet so he can imagine dangling from his leg while he is dragged across the court.

Congrats on nailing the easiest 2 picks in the draft. The Griffin pick was a lock, and Thabeet was about a 75% lock. The rest is where it gets tough, but good luck.

They are looking to move Hinrich, who could be part of a potential deal, but with Gordon being a priority, I'm not sure the Bulls can absorb Brand's contract.

100 percent correct. Love Harden -- great body control, wonderful shot fake, terrific intangibles -- but he's not a fit for that team.  Jackson was right to say moving Westbrook off the ball was the right move.  With Rubio, OKC had a nucleus of him, Westbrook, Durant and Jeff Green.  I mean, my God.  Those are absolutely sick building blocks.  I hope Harden succeeds, though, because he's easily my favorite player in this draft.

6/25/09

I guess the Maloofs will take care of Rubio...

6/25/09

I think with Westbrook already there, Harden is a much better choice.  The Thunder will be a high scoring team soon enough.

If he falls much further, he'll be a terrible pick, because he'll just stay in Spain if he goes too low and can't afford the buyout.

Put me in the Tyreke Evans is a bust camp.  One scout recently said that "he thinks shoot first, second and third."  He can't shoot well and needs the ball in his hands.  That works for A.I., but there aren't many guys like him.

In case anyone is wondering, the NBA's text "up-to-the-minute" text updates suck pretty bad. I got the #2 pick texted to me after the #4 pick was already selected, and then I recieved the #4 pick, and replied with "Stop" to stop the garbage. After that, I got the "Ok, we'll stop" message. Then, I got the #1 pick texted to me.

Steph Curry is the pick right here.

Could you have imagined if Harden would've gone to Minny?  Pretty ludicrous idea, but Rubio/Harden at 5/6 matched with Kevin Love, Al Jefferson and Mike Miller would've been an absolutely silly five by the spring of '10.

Gotta go with Curry.  A running team with Curry running the floor spotting up for 3's would be devastating.
