FanIQ Big 12 power rankings: Week 14

1. Kansas State (10-1, 7-1 Big 12; LW: No. 1) – A loss to the Longhorns would mean no Big 12 title and no BCS berth for K-State. Hopefully the bye week did something for Collin Klein, who was shut down by the Baylor defense. Next up: vs. Texas, Saturday, 8 p.m. ET (ABC).

2. Oklahoma (9-2, 7-1; LW: No. 2) – There’s still a chance that Oklahoma can win the conference and play in a BCS bowl, which would likely be the Sugar. Next up: at TCU, Saturday, 12 p.m. ET (ESPN).

3. Texas (8-3, 5-3; LW: No. 3) – The Longhorns don’t drop after their inexcusable loss to TCU—thanks to the Cowboys—but another could put Mack Brown’s job in jeopardy (if it isn’t already). Next up: at Kansas State, Saturday, 8 p.m. ET (ABC).

4. Oklahoma State (7-4, 5-3; LW: No. 4) – The Cowboys had OU backed up against a wall early, but allowed Landry Jones to throw for 500 yards in an overtime loss. Next up: at Baylor, Saturday, 12 p.m. ET (FX).

5. TCU (7-4, 4-4; LW: No. 6) – Moving up a spot in the rankings are the Horned Frogs, who are coming off a stellar defensive performance against a Texas offense that had been surging. Next up: vs. Oklahoma, Saturday, 12 p.m. ET (ESPN).

6. Texas Tech (7-5, 4-5; LW: No. 5) – It was another typical season for Texas Tech. Start off hot, fall off by Week 10. Next up: bowl game.

7. Baylor (6-5, 3-5; LW: No. 8) – Somehow, the Bears have found a way to become bowl eligible despite a backloaded schedule. Next up: vs. Oklahoma State, Saturday, 12 p.m. ET (FX).

8. West Virginia (6-5, 3-5; LW: No. 9) – Geno Smith threw for 236 yards and two touchdowns as the Mountaineers beat Iowa State to end their five-game skid. Next up: vs. Kansas, Saturday, 2:30 p.m. ET (Big 12 Network).

9. Iowa State (6-6, 3-6; LW: No. 7) – The Cyclones lost three of four to end the regular season after starting off 5-3. Next up: bowl game.

10. Kansas (1-10, 0-8; LW: No. 10) – If only Charlie Weiss could schedule South Dakota State for every week… Next up: at West Virginia, Saturday, 2:30 p.m. ET (Big 12 Network).
