1. West Virginia (3-0, 0-0 Big 12; LW: No. 1) -- With Oklahoma taking its first conference loss already, the Big 12 is West Virginia's for the taking — as long as it keeps winning. Next up: vs. Baylor, Saturday, 12 p.m. ET (FX).

2. Kansas State (3-0, 1-0; LW: No. 4) -- If everyone can stay healthy, Collin Klein and the Wildcats are well on their way to making a BCS appearance. Next up: BYE

3. Texas (3-0, 0-0; LW: No. 3) -- Oklahoma State opened as a 5.5 favorite over the Longhorns this weekend. I'm not buying into that at all, but Texas definitely can't come out of the gates sluggish after its bye. Next up: at Oklahoma State, Saturday, 7:30 p.m. ET (FX).

4. Oklahoma (2-1, 0-1; LW: No. 2) -- Yes, they looked bad. But the Sooners only lost by five to a very good Kansas State team. Look for Landry Jones to bounce back as Boomer sneaks back into Big 12 contention. Next up: BYE

5. TCU (3-0, 1-0; LW: No. 5) -- It wasn't a perfect outing, but TCU got the job done by taking care of Virginia, 27-7. The offense needs to get better in the red zone and taking better care of the ball. Next up: at SMU, Saturday, 7 p.m. ET (FSN).

6. Texas Tech (3-0, 0-0; LW: No. 6) -- We won't find out how good the Red Raiders really are until Week 6 against Oklahoma, but the Cyclones will be a good start. Next up: at Iowa State, Saturday, 7 p.m. ET (FCS).

7. Baylor (3-0, 0-0; LW: No. 7) -- Baylor squeezed by Louisiana-Monroe and the Bears' defense is suspect as usual. Next up: at West Virginia, Saturday, 12 p.m. ET (FX).

8. Oklahoma State (2-1, 0-0; LW: No. 8) -- The Cowboys allowed 59 points to Arizona. Arizona just got beat 49-0 by Oregon. Sorry to upset anyone, but this just isn't a quality team. Next up: vs. Texas, Saturday, 7 p.m. ET (Fox).

9. Iowa State (3-0, 0-0) -- Iowa State's 9-6 win over rival Iowa isn't looking as great anymore and it could use a big win over conference opponent Texas Tech to get things rolling early. Next up: vs. Texas Tech, Saturday, 7 p.m. ET (FCS).

10. Kansas (1-3, 0-1) -- Not even Charlie Weiss can turn around the Jayhawks in one season. [GASP!]Next up: BYE
