Conversations move back to football starting on Thursday night with what might be a stinker. Sunday should be exciting, as it offers several potential playoff previews, and also a game that could unofficially end Baltimore's Super Bowl defense.

2013 Week 10 NFL picks: Washington Redskins at Minnesota Vikings

The Vikes have to have another win in them before the end of the year. Why not Thursday night? They gave the best team in the NFC East a real fight up until the final minute of the game last weekend, and I'm not at all sold on Washington. Besides, Thursday night games are often wonky and thus ideal for an upset.

Winner: Vikings

2013 Week 10 NFL picks: Oakland Raiders at New York Giants

Either the Raiders will be entering this contest mad after being dismantled by Philly last Sunday, or their defense really is just that bad. Either way, I can't go with Oakland. A west-coast team is traveling to the other end of the country to play against a side that is coming off of a Bye. This one may be ugly, but I see Big Blue coming out on top.

Winner: Giants

2013 Week 10 NFL picks: Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons

Seattle living dangerously is likely going to catch up with the Seahawks sooner or later. I just don't think that day will be this Sunday. Atlanta really is awful, a banged up team that is in for a long second half of a season. The Falcons keep it close, but the Seattle D' forces a late turnover to seal the deal.

Winner: Seahawks

2013 Week 10 NFL picks: Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears

Well look who all of a sudden has new life in the playoff hunt. The Bears have won two of three, they are tied with the Packers and Lions atop the division standings, and, with Aaron Rodgers out, Chicago has real reason to believe that a postseason berth is a possibility. There's also the added boost of Jay Cutler returning. Detroit, while talented, has been up and down all season. I'm not convinced that won't again be the case.

Winner: Bears

2013 Week 10 NFL picks: Philadelphia Eagles at Green Bay Packers

One blowout win against Oakland does not at all mean that the Eagles are now contenders. With that said, Seneca Wallace is scheduled to start for the Packers. I saw that movie when Wallace was in Cleveland. I know how it ends.

Winner: Eagles

2013 Week 10 NFL picks: Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans

It's not easy being absolutely awful, but Jacksonville really does it with style. Tennessee QB Jake Locker is still on the road to recovery despite playing, and this is a great opportunity for him to find his form.

Winner: Titans

2013 Week 10 NFL picks: St. Louis Rams at Indianapolis Colts

The offense of the Rams is leaning on Kellen Clemens, who has admittedly been just fine in relief. St. Louis is losers of three straight. The team now has to go to what is one of the more difficult venues for opposition sides in the league to face off with Indianapolis, who is coming off of an emotionally-charged victory. Oh yeah, the Colts are also one of the better overall teams in the NFL.

Winner: Colts

Regardless of what fans and pundits are saying, I'm nervous about this game in Atlanta. Living dangerously or not, Seattle has some holes that aren't being filled quite yet (in due time...) I can only hope that they've fixed some issues against the run they've had over the past couple of games. With Red Bryant possibly out though, that may be too much to hope for at this point. Quizz may have a record game :/
