What the 'wisdom of fans' have to say about the events that matter and many more that don't ... It's All Access Q
What's Going On Tonight

NCAABB CAA Champ - George Mason vs. VCU (7 ESPN), MAAC Champ -  Siena vs. Niagara (9 ESPN2), West Coast Champ - Santa Clara vs. Gonzaga (9 ESPN)
NBA Milwaukee at Orlando (7 NBA TV)

3 tickets to the dance on the line tonight. Does Gonzaga need a win to get in? If George Mason were to get in, what kind of seed would they get? They'd have to consider last year's run, right? Feel free to answer these questions and discuss the games right here. Have a good night on the Q.

Hell of a game in the CAA final ... suggest you tune into the final 2 minutes. George Mason up 2.

Not anymore.  That was a heck of a shot by VCU to put them up by 2.
Wow, that changed quickly. Didn't know much about Eric Maynor before tonight ... but in the last two minutes I convinced he's a stud.

Although the Santa Clara vs Gonzaga game is clearly more interesting, I'm more apt to watch Niagara vs Siena simply because Bill Raftery > Rick "O-fence" Majerus

I think more people live on my block than there are at this MAAC championship. That's unfortuante.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only NCAA basketball fan who actually likes/appreciates Majerus.  The guy can be really informative about basketball in general, although the "o-fence" thing bugs me too.  I'd take him over pretty much any other color guy in the business.  (that I can think of right now)
Wow ... seriously? I tend not to tune him out lately. He's called a few Spartans games in the past two years where he wasn't even in the ball park with his insight and research. His terminology is just an added annoyance in my book. It's his opinions that I've strongly disagreed with on many occasions. Not his X's and O's because obviously he understands that far more than I can ... but for example ... he thought MSU's wings lacked athleticism last year. Actual comment by him.

I actually prefer Bilas in terms of basketball information and Raftery is hard to beat in terms of information + entertainment.

Is it too soon to question Sean Sutton's coaching job at Oklahoma State?

Yeah, I guess I should clarify.  I could care less about his opinions or insights about most teams that he is announcing for, but from an X's and O's standpoint, I think he is a great teacher.  Usually, when I'm listening to national broadcasts especially, I really don't expect them to know anything about my team.  If I really want to hear insights about my team or a conference opponent, I'll turn on the radio if it's a national broadcast, because the national guys know jack about specifics concerning each team.

So basically, what i meant about general basketball information is his X's and O's, because the other stuff really isn't too important to me.  I don't need a TV analyst to tell me that a wing is athletic when I can see it for myself on the tube.  I don't think guys like Bilas or Raftery do much as far as bringing any new information;  I can usually read the team-specific insights (that guys like Bilas especially specialize in) in hundreds of places, but real basketball information is hard to come by, which is why I like Majerus.  (Wow, this post turned long)
Understandable, that's an accurate assessment. I agree with you on the X's and O's.

Perhaps the MSU example wasn't the best but knowing he's failed to do his research in quite a few of those games, it lends me not to believe to his spewing the same garbage in other games ... unless he's diagraming a play or pointing out a desired strategy adjustment. Which as you accurately stated is most important.

Anyways ... I'll take Bilas as he's a far better communicator, offers some good X's and O's and provides you a few tidbits about players you wouldn't already know.

Gonzaga looks like they'll probably win here ... but if they don't are they safe?

wow. interesting ending to the Gonzaga game. I am not sure if there could've been anymore added excitement to a win that wasn't that close.

I am happy that another bubble team isn't potentially thrown out.

Tonight's results definitely bold well for the Illini who I still think are IN right now anyway (but barely).
