A Giant Debate: Plaxico Burress vs Hakeem Nicks

The past two Super Bowls that the New York Giants have won, they have had an elite wide receiver on the outside. In 2007 it was Plaxico Burress, who that season amassed a total of 1,025 yards and twelve touchdowns. Burress' talent was huge in helping open up the running game that year, as the Giants were one of the best running teams in the NFL. Who can forget the eleven catch, 151 yard performance who put on against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship game?

Fast forward to 2011, while Victor Cruz stole the headlines, Hakeem Nicks is the New York Giants most talented receiver on the outside. This year Nicks caught 76 passes for 1192 yards and seven touchdowns. Nicks totaled over 100 yards in three of the Giants' four playoff games, including the Super Bowl. One of those games was a seven catch, 165 yard and two touchdown game against the Green Bay Packers in the divisional round (ironic isn't it?)

The question is in their primes who do you take? Burress or Nicks?
