BrandonBourbonnais, IL
Male 32 years old
About Me:
My name is Brandon (a.k.a. The Chief) I live in Bourbonnais Illinois and I work as an installer and pretty much EVERYTHING customer service for a local appliance dealer. I literally live and breath sports. My purpose for joining the "Q" (TM) was to prove my skills as a sports prodigy! My sports experience runs deep to say the least! I grew up in a family of ten children and I was the youngest boy. There are seven boys and two girls besides me. Having said this, I shouldn't even have to add that these spors nuts that helped mold me into what I am today, had me in the backyard at three years old playing baseball, basketball, and football! I played organized baseball for a total of eleven years, basketball for five, and football for all four years in high school. I now coach baseball (9-12 year olds) and basketball (9-15 year olds) in my spare time. Really, I'm constantly around sports at just about all times! I was a pre-launch beta tester of this superb, innovative, and self-relating site that Ty Shay conceived back in the fall of 2005! I am honored to be one of the first to roam the halls of the "Q" (TM) Ultimately, my proudest moment on the "Q" (TM) was the moment Ty asked me to be the very first commissioner! That was a day that I'll cherish for the rest of my days! And really, the rest is history fellow sports frrreaks!! If you ever have a question.....Hit me up!

(In honor of the Little League World Series kicking off yesterday, a little poetry from our very own Little League coach, Chief)
Baseball
From the smell of fresh cut grass,
To the bellowing of "Play Ball!".
As I'm tempted by the scents of hot-dogs and popcorn,
Chalk dust marks where the action befalls.
Fields filled with history and character,
Heroes are developed within these walls.
Hearts are shattered and dreams made realities,
Performances remembered in a hallowed hall.
Rivalries are naturally developed,
Hatred fills the veins pushing towards a brawl.
All the while respect is still apparent,
Competition extracts greatness that cannot be installed.
Dust abound from a slide and tag applied,
The snapping of the mit from heavily thrusted fireballs.
Mammoth shots soar into the night sky and beyond,
The crowd ecstatic as the announcer makes the call.
Pondering back to my days as a youth,
My fondest memories as I recall.
Were spent on a field the shape of a diamond,
With three leather bags, a surrounding fence, a mound, and a BASEBALL
---Brandon (cHiEf) Gifford . . . . . baseball nut
