Reviewing my 2013 Week 5 NFL picks: Dolphins over Ravens
I went into this game convinced that Miami was a real contender and that Baltimore isn't anything special. That did not go well for me. Ryan Tannehill absolutely cannot take that sack in the final minute of the game. One play alone didn't cost the Dolphins on Sunday, but it did prevent Miami from having a shot at overtime.
Reviewing my 2013 Week 5 NFL picks: Cardinals over Panthers
Carolina isn't playing against the G-Men every weekend, and so what you see from them from here on out is what you get. Arizona bringing Cam Newton down seven times in a single game was a surprise. Most reassuring for the Cards is that Larry Fitzgerald looks to be 100 percent. That should mean good times for the team's offense moving forward.
Reviewing my 2013 Week 5 NFL picks: Broncos over Cowboys
Tony Romo went blow for blow with Peyton Manning. Nobody, and I mean nobody, saw that coming. There isn't a team in the league that's going to win a shootout against the Broncos. Not until somebody finds a way to keep Manning and company from continuing their historic run will Denver be in danger of losing.
Reviewing my 2013 Week 5 NFL picks: 49ers over Texans
Anybody who has been following my weekly NFL power rankings knows that I haven't been sold on Houston once this season. The Texans are the most overrated 2-3 team in the NFL, and they could easily be winless. Matt Schaub should feel lucky that he is getting another start.
Reviewing my 2013 Week 5 NFL picks: Chargers over Raiders
I have got to stop falling for these Chargers. They are, on the other hand, a roller coaster ride of win and then lose, so Philip Rivers may be able to lead San Diego to a shock win at Indianapolis next Sunday night. Terrelle Pryor is quietly getting better with every start. Oakland will follow in his footsteps as long a Pryor remains healthy.
Reviewing my 2013 Week 5 NFL picks: Falcons over Jets
This is my only pick that is going live before the game kicks off. Gang Green may be better than are the Giants, but the Jets are .500 in record only. The Falcons losing back to back home games in prime time is a rare occurrence. I'd be floored if it happened here.
