I think what makes it worse after the fact was Bill Polian saying that garbage about how he wanted to lead win's this decade, if I'm not mistaken. I think for most fan's we wanted to see a team do it or attempt to do it. It's why we respected the Patriots. That team had balls.

absolutely! the Jets have Nothing to be  ashamed about! They beat a Charger team that few thought they would win.they played the colts well,and hard!! I have nothing but respect for the Jets and Sanchez! He gave us fans a great title conference game! A gazillion respects to them!

But right now, Drew Brees is a better QB than Brett Favre. So wouldn't you rather see the Saints win? I mean... Brett Favre being good 10 years ago is kinda irrelevant now, when it comes to watching one game.

I agree it should be. I have always thought  if you have to have a stadium with a dome for concerts or anything else is fine but when it comes to football it should be enforced the roof be opened.

It's an almost unfair fit for that to end on a Sanchez INT. He made it known that he'll throw plenty of interceptions in his rookie season and probably career, but he also had one fantastic game today.

I agree that Collie has had an amazing performance, but Garcon has had to go get some of the balls thrown his way as were some of Collie's catches have come from mistakes by the secondary. Just my opinion.

As someone who thought about picking 27-17 Colts, then changed his mind to 27-13, I'm glad the Colts kicked that field goal.

Definitely don't need any injuries here, especially a guy of Freeney's caliber.

Collie had a pretty good game as well. I understand they had to go away from Wayne/Revis, but Pierre has also been making some fantastic routes and great catches that helped immensely.

Peyton has played a lot better in this game than he did in that Super Bowl, but Garcon should still get the MVP for this game for sure.

Garcon has been great but it still has to be Manning. But Collies numbers aren't too much worse. Manning's used all his weapons efficiently and effectively. He's assassinated the defense in the second half.

3-and-out for the Jets, I think the Cinderella run has finally come to an end.  Sanchez has played well, better than the other rookies in his position have done, unfortunately it doesn't look like it'll be enough.

I'm pretty sure Peyton was voted MVP because he lead his team to 14 straight wins and was statistically the best QB out there. Don't think it has anything to do with being head and shoulders above a still-rookie Sanchez.

I'm not saying have sympathy, I'm saying you can't compared someone to Norwood for missing a 50+ yarder. I just checked last season, and the rate of completion was about 63% (66/104). Better, but far from certain.

To be fair, you can compare that to any hitter in MLB who get paid to "choke" 70% of the time too...It's all relative.

it seems like it's a down year for kickers except for the upper echelon of kickers. Sad these guys get paid to choke on a regular basis.

I just checked. This year kickers were barely over 50% from 50+ (55/104). Dome or not, that's never an easy kick.
