AK-47: Now Even Less Manly Somehow
4/29/08

Andrei Kirilenko may be a great defender, and play pretty hard, but he's never exactly been the kind of guy that I would describe as tough. After all, he cried last year during the playoffs about his reduced playing time. And in addition to that, he threatened to go back and play basketball in Russia. Not exactly a man's man, to say the least.

And although it probably won't help the Rockets much from getting knocked out off the playoffs tonight, they can at least take comfort in the fact that AK-47 is continuing make a fool of himself, this time in a Russian music video with his wife, Masha. Masha is of course most famous for allowing Andrei the option of having a one night stand with one woman a year that isn't her.

And this video won't change what we know her for, because it's horrible. Apparently Russian music videos have the budget of a starving artist. And on top of it all, AK-47 comes across as, um, let's just say not real tough. By the way, the title of the song is "Sugary."

Seriously, if the Rockets have any chance of winning tonight, they need to play this song on the JumboTron repeatedly and laugh Kirilenko out of the building. Knowing AK-47's ability to handle abuse, it shouldn't take more than about 5 minutes.

UPDATE: The Rockets killed the Jazz tonight. I have no doubt it's because of this video appearing here.

AK's appearance in this must have been a critical element in her "deal."
