The Red Sox offense has been atrocious so far in the ALDS against the Angels. John Lackey, Jered Weaver and the bullpen held the Sox to a combined total of 1 run off 8 hits in two games.

Now, they're heading back to Boston, where the Red Sox bats usually come alive. The Red Sox were 56-25 at home this season, and they tend to thrive in Boston.

The Sox have been one of the more resilient teams in baseball lately, but this series is looking quite risky.

0	Anyone else find it strange that the Boston play-by-play guy is also doing it for the playoffs on TBS? Granted, he is a solid announcer but you have think that some bias might slip in. Unless the TBS color guy is the Angels color guy also. Either way I don't really care. Also go Red Sox so my roomate won't kill himself

I thought that was weird too, and it almost seems like they're over-compensating for it, because Buck Martinez (the other announcer, who normally works with the Orioles, I believe) seems to be more biased for the Red Sox than Orsillo. It's actually annoying me, even as a Sox fan.

Personally, I think it would be cool to have one announcer from each team for the playoffs. I think it would make things interesting.

Hmm not sure why you brought the Mets into this...I was creating a hypothetical situation about something that was relevant and could be true.

And for the record, apparently TBS thinks the Mets have at least one good announcer because Ron Darling, one of the Mets color guys, has been doing the Phillies/Rockies series.
