You know, there are a number of reasons A-Rod is the most hated player in baseball. First off, he may be the least clutch player in history. Second, he's pretty much only about the money. Third, he has a stick stuck up his butt. And fourth, he has a stick stuck up his butt.And now this. In some kind of bizarre attempt to win over the affection of Andy Pettitte, who's likely to get some cold stares from the non-caught steroid and HGH users in the Yankees clubhouse, A-Rod offered this puzzling tidbit.
"Andy is one of the greatest human beings I've ever met," Rodriguez said. "I have two daughters -- well, I have one and one on the way. If I had a daughter, I would want 'em to marry Andy Pettitte. The age difference might be a little awkward, but in today's day and age anything is possible."
A-Rod, your daughter is 3. Pettitte is 35. That's not even funny, it's just plain weird.I guess there's no reason for Pettitte to be worried about awkward stares, they'll now all be directed at A-Rod.
By the way, I've got to say I'm surprised that a Republican like A-Rod would be down for marrying his daughter off at the tender age of 3. But then again, knowing A-Rod's strange sexual tastes, I guess I'm not all that surprised.
