If we're going to post on Brett Favre's flight plans and penalty laps, then it's only fair we give Aaron Rodgers equally excessive attention, at least for a night.
Life after Favre begins tonight, as the Rodgers takes the starting reigns on Monday Night Football in Green Bay. This isn't just a preseason game for Rodgers, and Packers fans, even though it should be. Expect every snap, drop back, release, completion, incompletion, scramble, bathroom break to be compared to the man that came before him. Rodgers' best friend may be the Olympics, which is drawing huge TV ratings and will pull many viewers away.
Ironically, the Packers begin their preseason play against the team that at one point held a huge lead in the Too Much Offseason Drama standings, before they were lapped by Air Favre One.
Chad Johnson insists he's happy again in Cincinnati, and Carson Palmer assures us the Bengals offense is on the same page and will be lighting up the scoreboard all season. We'd settle for just not being an embarrassment.
