Adam Scott won a playoff with Angel Cabrera to become the first Australian ever to win the Masters.

Scott birdied the second playoff hole to take home the Green Jacket. He and Cabrera tied at -9 for the tournament after regulation. Tiger Woods finished at -5, in 4th place.

This is Scott's first career major victory. His previous best finish was 2nd place at the 2012 British Open.

Fellow Australian Jason Day was winning with only two holes to go, but bogeyed both the 17th and 18th to fall two strokes behind Scott and Cabrera.

Congrats to Adam Scott on a great win.
