I'm the exact opposite of a Pistons fan, but I feel compelled to advise any team close to making such a poor, season crippling decision. Not having learned from last season, Detroit is close to accepting Chris Webber back into their locker room.
Good player ... will never play on a winning team. There's a reason he's been around this long and hasn't won. He's about i, me, my which didn't have any place on the Pistons best teams over the last 6-7 years. During the playoffs, Webber was quoted as yelling on the court during numerous possessions "D-up! I got to get my ring!" For the first time since their ascent up the NBA ladder, last season's 'Stons surprisingly lacked the chemistry on the court, the passion, and the drive that had fueled their success.
Why? Webber was added to the mix. It's not that hard to figure out.
Naturally, the biggest media idiot in Detroit thinks Webber is a natural fit for this year's Pistons.
Need I say anymore about why this is a bad move.
