The good news is that Adrian Peterson will be back this season. The bad news is that we don't get to see him run through, past and around the worst rushing defense in the NFL. If there was a best case scenario Sunday afternoon after watching the hit, Peterson's MRI revealed it. AD has a ligament tear, but won't need surgery with the structure of the knee still in tact.
Despite the good news, I'm still a little depressed I won't get to watch my fantasy RB rack up the points and chase the rookie rushing record. So for those in the same boat, here's a mix of AD highlights during the first half of the season. I'll be watching this Sunday.
