Ahh, The Power of Three's...and Incredibly High-Pressuring Full-Court Defense.

After the Gophers first Big Ten loss at Purdue last week, Minnesota faced the Buckeyes at the Barn yesterday afternoon.

A first half of back-and-forth play and keeping it even throughout, the second half consisted of Minnesota's full-court press that resulted in 17 Ohio State turnovers. Another big reason to the second half success was yet again the work of Junior guard, Blake Hoffarber, who finished with 27 points and 7/9 from three point land (6 for 7 in the second half alone).

The final result was a 73-62 Gophers win.

Minnesota plays the 11th ranked Michigan St. Spartans @ Izzo-land on Wednesday while Ohio State plays Purdue in West Lafayette on Tuesday.
