Hopefully Nick Saban knows what he's getting into by enforcing a new gameday policy that will likely render Bryant-Denny Stadium empty on Fall Saturdays. Rule 1: If you blow more than a 0.08%, you will be asked to leave the stadium, and if you are a season ticket holder, your tickets will be revoked and you will not be able to renew them.
That should wipe out at least half of capacity. A little harsh, perhaps. Just so you don't think I'm ridiculing only Bama fans, I can't remember the last time I've been to a college football game and would have passed this test.
Rule 2: Clothing -- no longer be allowed into the stadium: Tank tops or shirts with the sleeves cut out, Halter tops and cut-off t-shirts, Cut-off blue jean shorts, Jerseys worn into the stadium must be Nike, Attire with vulgarity or obscene photographs, Shoes must be worn at all times.
And that sufficiently eliminates the other half of the Alabama fan base. Hopefully Nick Saban can motivate his team to perform in front of hundreds of fans each week.
