First off I'd like some reaction from Alabama fans who attend games.

So in Alabama I take it the first couple home games already have snow falling, right? Because no halters/tank tops/cut off sleeves/jean shorts would only be worn if it was nice out. And I won't even get into the taking away from what cute coeds will no longer be wearing.

Have to have Nike, sounds vert monopolistic to me and something that borders on illegal if not at least without morals.

I'm ok with this rule if it's enforced in the following way. If you are asked to leave the stadium by security/police for disorderly conduct, you are given a breathalyzer. If you fail it, then you lose your tickets.

I can't see them testing everyone before the game starts. Are they really going to test the whole stadium for every game?

I agree.  I think visible intoxication should only be tested, but I've been to enough of the "big games" where booze can turn folks into instant a-holes.   Honestly though, I'm more concerned about the drunks that share the same roads going home from the game. 

The clothing issue?  Completely retarded. 

No rules about having to have a certain number of teeth or coming to a game with your wife/sister?????  I'm shocked!

I'm not sure how you came across this article, but I'm pretty sure it's a joke.  I looked on just about every Bama site I could find, and there was nothing about this anywhere to be found.  It's funny, I will give the writer that much.  If any of this is true, I would be shocked.  But cmon....blue jean shorts?  Really?    But I checked some of his other stories and I came across some dandies.

One of my favorites is how an assistant coach violated NCAA rules for assisting a football player. 

In the latest in a series of transgressions committed by NCAA coaches, Bo Davis, an assistant coach with the University of Alabama, has been disciplined by the university for providing illegal assistance to one of his players. The player in the case was senior wide receiver, Darwin Salaam who was drowning in a lake at the time, begging for help.
 
According to Associate Athletic Director for Compliance, Chris King, Mr. Davis “blatantly and knowingly” violated NCAA rules by offering and providing assistance to the drowning Salaam in the form of an inner tube.
 
The inner tube was worth a reported $19.95.

If this was printed as a joke, well, then you got me.  Call me Mr. gullible.

I was hoping so.  And it was funny, because I could think of quite a few of my friends who would have to watch the game from the parking lot.  It just looked like a few of the comments above thought it was serious (I did too, gullible as hell).

The first rule is a good idea. As for all the other rules. I am sure if true Alabama fans want to see the games bad enough...they will adjust.
