Nick Saban: 'I don't know how to send a text'

Nick Saban isn't typically the kind of coach to crack a joke or attempt to put a smile on the media's face—he's usually a "get in and get out" guy—but that wasn't the case on Thursday.Blog Photo - Alabama Football: Nick Saban 'doesn't know how to send a text'

During his time at the presser for SEC Media Days, Saban was asked about his thoughts on social media. His response was priceless (and probably not meant to be a joke).

"I don't know how to send a message," he said. "...I've never really been in to that much. I've spent the better part of my life trying to not let people know what I'm doing. ...I don't quite get why you would want to tell everybody what you're doing."

Hands down the best quote from Thursday.

Saban is an old-fashioned person. He prefers solitude at the lake, face-to-face communication and a traditional pound-and-ground style of football. He'll leave social media to everyone else and focus on winning another national title behind locked doors. Roll Tide.
