Blog Photo - Alabama broken championship trophy sold for $105,000Nowadays, it seems like Alabama's BCS championship trophies shouldn't even be worth that much, since they're not even rare anymore.

Maybe that's why a shattered crystal trophy from their 2011 championship season sold for $105,000. Because it's more rare than the ones that are in one piece.

It seems crazy to me, but then again, SEC fans are a crazy bunch.

In case you forgot, the trophy was dropped by Carelton Tinker, father of long snapper Carson Tinker, and shattered into pieces.

But hey... it was still worth something, apparently.
