Blog Photo - Alex Rodriguez's nephew hit 8 consecutive home runs in Miami high school tournamentJoe Dunand is a high school baseball prospect in Miami, and his recent home run streak is considered to be the longest home run streak in U.S. high school history.

There's no way to say for sure, but 8 home runs in 8 at bats is more than likely an unparalleled feat.

Dunand's uncle is Alex Rodriguez, who was also a pretty highly touted Miami high school shortstop prospect in his day.

Dunand's star is rising quickly, thanks to his incredible feat in the state tournament. He wasn't as much of a power hitter in the regular season, and only had two home runs this year before starting this ridiculous streak.

Still, there were plenty of scouts on hand to watch him play, and the interest is only going to grow as he continues his career.

He's planning on attending North Carolina State, but he might turn pro if his draft prospects are promising enough. We'll see, perhaps we'll be hearing his name again in the future on a higher level.
