All Time Greatest NBA Champion Tournament

Have You Ever Wondered Who The Greatest NBA Champion Of All Time Was? Well Now You'll Know.

With the dog days of summer upon us and baseball being the only sport really going on right now, I thought it would be a fun idea to try and come up with the Ultimate NBA Champion. So with the help of all of the FanIQ users who took this poll and What If Sports.com, I was able to put together a bracket of the past 58 NBA champions and place them into a bracket:

With the bracket seeding done by the poll, I was able to place each team in their proper place. Then I went to What If Sports and played the first round out in a best-of-three game series to see who would advance to the round of 32.

Now without further adue, here are the results for the first round match ups and look for the results of the second round of this tournament on Monday.

Ok , I see it now but what do you think of the winner facing the WNBA champion in a fun game with some charity getting the money. With the match ups I did who do you think would make it to the semi-finals to face the Celtics and Lakers and the chance for the title and the game vs. the WNBA Champions who are the Detroit Shock right now.

It would be a waste of time to write an article due to people like you who think they know everything . The reason I did my format the way I did is because it was teams that are still in the NBA . The other way would take to dam long and the players do need to rest for the season.

But how in the hell did you decide the match-ups and the way I see it your match-ups are a joke.  A real way to see who is the best all time NBA Champion is have the Lakers and the Celtics wait until the semi-final round and have the next 8 teams play a wild card round, Then the 4 winners face off in the quarter finals with the two winners advancing to the semi-finals with the lowest seed remaining facing the Lakers. Then the Championship Series the two winners play for the title. Then the champion plays the WNBA Champion in a game with the money going to Breast Cancer. Here are better match-ups and the tournament would not last as long. Round 1-  #3 seed Golden State Warriors vs. # 10 seed New York Knicks , #4 seed Philadelphia 76ers vs. # 9 seed Detroit Pistons, #5 seed Chicago Bulls [w/ Michael Jordan] vs. # 8 seed San Antonio Spurs [w/ David Robinson],  #6 seed Houston Rockets vs. #7 seed Milwaukee Bucks.  The first round series will be a best of 3 series,  The quarter-finals and semi-finals will be a best of 5 series, The championship series will be a best of 7 series. The game with the WNBA will only one game.

I seeded the teams based on the poll taken by FanIQ users. Since there were 58 teams, I just had everyone rank the teams and then seed them that way.

The 1986-87 Clippers and 72-72 76ers would clean all their clocks.

This must have taken a long time to set up for something that is purely fictional and meaningless, but it does give you the opportunity to show Larry Legend in those awesome extra medium shorts.
