Another huge winter storm is heading up the east coast. You're probably snowed in and wondering what to do. You don't want to shovel snow, if you don't have a hill for sled riding within walking distance, you shouldn't be driving to find one, and you're worried about cabin fever. We got a cure for that, how about 136 NCAA basketball games? 22 of the top 25 are in action today, and some non-top 25 games will be huge too. Don't forget to

I was impressed with Duke today. They just played on Thursday night in a very physical game against Georgia Tech. Now about 36 hours later they go on the road and beat BC. Nice effort on very short rest for the devils.

Although Michigan State comes right back with a 6-0 mini-run in less than 2 minutes.

Fighting Illini all over the Lucas-less Spartans right now. Up 14-4 in 3 1/2 minutes.

Pitt up by 23, Vols up by 25, 2 blowouts for a couple of the 6:00 teams.

The Vols are still up by 19, and Pitt leads by 17. The Panthers definitely missed Jermaine Dixon the last few games. He has 15 points tonight.

Pitt leads by 7 at the half, the Vols are all over SC, 30-16 as the first half comes to an end.

Pitt is tied with Seton Hall 15-15 with 11 minutes to play in the first half.

If I remember correctly from the pick 'ems, Michigan was actually favored to win that game, and I can only ask WHY?
2/6/10 | Chief_aka_James | 3286 respect
Wisconsin is 11/15 from 3 point range today against Michigan. Leading 50-31.

They beat a Pitt team that beats the good teams, then loses to the teams you'd think they probably SHOULD beat, talk about inconsistent.
Texas has definitely taken a tumble though.

Yea, Pastner's definitely got the look of one of those old player/coaches. It's scary when your players look older than you do.
2/6/10 | Chief_aka_James | 3286 respect
I don't think it was overachieving, just bad competition. They beat a Pitt team that has shown to be mediocre in the Big East, a UNC team that has shown to be absolutely awful, and their only 'real' win comes against Michigan State at home. Other than that, it's been pretty bad for them.

It really makes you wonder if they were overachieving.

Where was this Oklahoma team all season?
2/6/10 | Chief_aka_James | 3286 respect
Yea, since their 17-0 start, they've been 2-3, soon to be 2-4, and could very well be 2-5 after playing Kansas on Monday. Not saying they're a bad team, but I don't see any chance of them going far in the Tourney playing like they have been against tougher competition.

Duke hangs on for dear life, meanwhile Texas is getting murdered in the first half.

BC with a three to make it 64-63 with 15.1 left.

Lawrence Westbrook with the drive, step back, and 19 foot buzzer beater for the 66-64 Gopher win. Wow.
2/6/10 | Chief_aka_James | 3286 respect
Gophers looking like they're going to lose another one late, this time at Penn St.

Doesn't look like it's gonna happen for Nova today, they finally get their first conference loss, and the Hoyas hit triple digits!

I did pick the Hoyas to win this, but I didn't expect something this lopsided.

Scottie Reynolds is heating up right now though, Nova might have one really good shot still.
2/6/10 | redsox1002003 | 881 respect
nova is getting beaten down right now

It looked like a Wizards game earlier, but now it's filled up a little. Apparently some are crazy enough to be out when the National Weather Service described traveling in this weather as "life threatening."

Verizon Center for this Nova/G'Town game is pretty empty..People can't get through snow? Wusses.
