I am very upset with Jared Allen leaving the Chiefs! We finally franchise him and then turns around and leaves KC! Now he's going to be the highest paid defensive end in the NFL. It's ridiculous.
KC is still growing. I know this, every fan in KC knows this. But we need to have a sturdy reliable team. Someone leaves, we have to fill that spot! Can't KC figure this out! I want a reliable team to cheer for week in and week out. I've been a fan of the Chiefs forever and I'll stick with them through thick and thin. But when you deal with disappointments, its rough on the fans.
I know the Chiefs received 1st round draft picks, 3rd round draft picks, and a swap in the 6th round, but from my point of view, it just doesn't add up. We lost a valuable player and now we have to fill that void. Luckily Tamba Hali plays just as well as Allen did.
