Amare Stoudemire Dances On Nickelodeon's Yo Gabba Gabba!
Let Amare Stoudemire Take You On An Acid Trip
I've never seen the show Yo Gabba Gabba! on Nickelodeon, but it's apparently like Sesame Street...on acid. And for reasons known only to Amare Stoudemire, he decided to appear on the show to strut some of his awesome dance moves for "Dancey Dance Time."

GO CRAZY! GO CRAZY!

Oh, I most definitely am.

And if you think Amare's the only Suns player to have a bizarre offseason, you are incorrect, my friend. Amare's Yo Gabba Gabba! exploits pale in comparison to Steve Nash's ridiculously weird Step Brothers take off with Baron Davis.

Man, I just hope the Suns win an NBA championship. I can only imagine what the Championship DVD would include.

And somehow we still managed to waste 106 seconds of our life on that...

I'm still wondering how they made Amare suddenly disappear at the end, and I'm wondering why the Celtics didn't just do that with Vin Baker a few years ago.

I've watched this with my 4 year old cousin. She loved this, she was up and dancing and jumping around. I was sitting there wondering what the hell happened to Nick Jr. and morning cartoons in general.

This was on the Phoenix local news recently, fans seemed to be upset by this for some reason.

That or that weird looking one eyed orange thing would try to steal the ball and Amare would blow his knee out again...

It's a purposefully weird show because Gee,  IT'S MADE FOR FOUR YEAR OLDs.

You old crusty curmudgeons sound like my Dad when Fraggle Rock came out...

I'd MUCH rather my kids watch Yo! Gabba Gabba than that annoying ass Dora, ANY DAY.

I would've wasted those seconds anyway.

OMG... You're serious?

Wow.... you do mean AMARE and not Damon Stoudemire, right?? Maybe you were thinking about Carmelo Anthony or Dwight Howard?

He IS money from 15 feet. $$$$$

He has improved his shooting EVERY full season he's played. It's not like he's dunking everything - Espcially since that other big guy joined the Suns.

Amare shot 59% last year from the field - 5th in the league -  and almost 81% at the FT line. He was second - in the league - in Win Shares and #1 in true shooting percentage in the entire association. So when was he clanking ANYthing?

He IS a great shooting big man. I don't need stats to prove that - my eyes have seen it over and over. And my ears hear Suns announcer Eddie Johnson - one of the most accurate shooters in NBA history - compliment his skill.

And any video that bigns with Biz Markie should be a warning that you're in for something weird.

Mix Master Mike and Hot Hot Heat were on the show too, we just don't get to see them.

Most big men have good shooting percentages... because they take such high percentage shots... like the dunks that Luke mentioned.

True. But Amare last year - and years previous - had the duty to extend his defender out of the lane several times a game per D'Antoni's system.

I didn't defend Amare's shooting because he dunks all the time. He doesn't dunk as much as you think he did...

Take away Amare's 208 dunks in  07-08 and he still shot 50.45% (506 - 1,033 FGA) on the rest of his shots - how many shooting guards, let alone big men can say that? Even WITHOUT his dunks, he was over 50%!!! LeBron was a 48% shooter WITH his dunks, Kobe was a 46% shooter WITH his dunks... but I guess I don't know what I'm talking about...

NONE of the other top ten dunkers (total dunks in season) of 2007-08 even shot over 44% in their non-dunks... so don't tell me "it's all layups" then. Amare is a GREAT shooting basketball player, especially for a big man.

Non-dunks still don't mean he's shooting 20-footers regularly, like a lot of SG's do. I'm not saying he's not a good shooting big man, but he's nowhere near the top of my list, if I had to pick someone to shoot a 15-footer to win a game.
