Gladiators is back! Many a Saturday morning was spent in watching the Eliminator during my childhood. Thus, I expect many of you are as pumped as I am about the return of American Gladiators to network television.

Names like Nitro, Ice, Storm and Blade will be replaced by Wolf, Mayhem, Justice and Crush.

Not sure what to expect, but I'm definitely watching. Feel free to Q it up here.

I think what makes this show a million times better than the original is the camera work and lighting. It makes everything that much more intense.

God, I can't wait for scripted TV to come back. Caught the east coast feed of NBC earlier on Directv, and that was enough. I'm not that nostalgic, but I hear Knight Rider is coming back. My fav geek pre-teen show back in the day. Anyone?

And we have finally started here in Mountain...

Gotta say, so far I am pretty unimpressed. I don't really care about these people's personal lives, there's too much stupid trash talking and the music is overly dramatic. Plus there was a male spandex incident that I would really like to erase from my memory.

FanIQ doesn't disappoint with a live Gladiator debut thread.  The new eliminator makes me tired just watching it.  I only hope they have a wildcard for the finals, the two second ladies(Bonnie and Shanay) are very tough and sad that one has to go home.

Dude, the Skater sucks. He doesn't learn anything, has no moves, and can not match-up anyway with any of the Gladiators. At least the fireman can pull some jukes and learns as he goes. I would watch SportsCenter or that sports science show on FSN if there were not 10 minutes left.

Ohh, Kevin Smith is entering the draft. Not sure I agree with that, although not sure how much more he can grow as a player in Conference USA.
