If it wasn't already obvious, I'm completely in the bag for Steve Nash. Man crush, whatever your term is, he tops my list as favorite professional athlete. I'm not alone in that department to be sure. It helps that he has a brand like Nike that cultivates his image so well. There isn't a cooler athlete in sports.
More NBA debuts tonight, most notably the Phoenix Suns who departed the playoffs last season with David Stern stamped all over them. Miami and Detroit tip it off in the early game sans Dwyane Wade from Robbins, Illinois. If hoops is what you're watching, chat it up here.
of course the rules crap has to come up again... good grief... Its 11/1/2007... not April-May 2007 when it happened... time to focus forward, and not backwards. The Suns have a promising future ahead, and no need to look at the past. Same for the Spurs... last year's title means nothing at this point. It is back to work just like everyone else.
I said the exact same thing. They have some of the most creative team names in the D-League. This draft is pretty funny too. Almost a see if you remember semi good college players.
Unreal. Hopefully it's not being overlooked that not only are the Suns putting their best defender on Durant, they're also double teaming him whenever possible. This is a rookie in his second game. I'd be surprised if that happened to Lebron. Maybe Shaq.
This 4th Q goes to show you how even in the NBA regular season it takes time to learn how to win games.

It takes a lot to be able to run with the Suns as long as they did, especially on the 2nd game of a back-to-back. Seattle did a great job playing with the Suns tonight, they're just going to come up a bit short.
