Anaheim Ducks defeat the Los Angeles Kings at Dodgers Stadium
They had previously played each other in Anaheim, when the Ducks came out on top after losing their first home game in regulation all season. This meant the Kings had a lot to prove, but they failed to rise to the occasion.
The first goal went to Cory Perry, who became the first hockey player to score a goal in Dodgers Stadium. Matt Belesky also scored in the first period, and Andrew Cogliano got the third goal in the last period, blanking the Kings 3-0.
Drew Doughty had some strong words for his team later, as reported on ESPN710, saying that they just didn't want it bad enough. He called it embarrassing.
