Dustin Penner has signed a one-year $1 million deal with the Los Angeles Kings' local rivals.

The short-term deal is likely related to the 33 games he played last year due to a lower body injury, and his stats reflected that.

Last season, Penner only scored two goals, and seven the year before, which are both a far cry from the 29 he scored his last season in Anaheim (2006-07).

Hopefully after a long off-season of recovery, he'll be back to form.

I was hoping that he'd be back with the Kings. ONe of the best guys in hockey.......Playoff Penner is a BEAST; however, regular Season Penner ....the last couple of years.....not so much, and the Kings just didn't have the money.

I'm very conflicted.

Do I take the pic of Penner and I eating pancakes off my classroom wall or not? I will have to think long and hard about this. lol
