According to Marc Spears of Yahoo Sports, Andray Blatche will be signing with the Brooklyn Nets in what is a non-guaranteed deal for this upcoming year. It's possible, however, that the Nets will re-sign the humbled power forward to more than just one year because Blatche has always been a high-risk, high-reward player.
When Blatche becomes a team player and acts like a professional, he’s almost worth the contract that the Wizards signed him to. However, there’s a reason why no one wanted to lay their hands on him recently and why he almost ended up in the D-League.
However, Blatche has been working out with former coach, John Lucas, this off season and has a lost a bit of weight along with a lot of his ego.
This is a good signing for the new look Brooklyn Nets who will now have a bolstered front court with the return of Brook Lopez, Kris Humphries, and the recent signings of Reggie Evans and Mirza Teletovic.
