Andrew Bynum Participates in First Practice
After taking over one year off, Andrew Bynum is finally back on the basketball court with the rest of his team. Bynum has not been cleared to play on opening day, but it appears that he is on track to play in the next week or two. This past weekend, Bynum practiced with the rest of the team different for bits and pieces.
Head Coach Mike Brown said, "There's parts of the practice they don't want him to do. He hasn't participated in every aspect of practice all the time.''
When Brown was asked if Bynum would be ready for opening night this coming Wednesday, he said, “I'm not even speculating that. What I'm waiting for is the doctors to say he can play. If the doctors say he can play, that's when I'll make a decision as to whether or not to play him. But the doctors have not cleared him to play yet.''
If Bynum can play 50-60 games for 20 minutes a game this year, the Cavaliers may not only have won the lottery once this year, but twice, specially if they have him for all of next year.
