C.J. Gable, you're on notice. Forgive me for getting a little too infatuated with the SI Cover Jinx, but this is the reason. Sports Illustrated decides to put a trio of USC running backs on its West Coast cover. Not more than 24 hours after, Emmanuel Moody decides to transfer. Yesterday, we learn that a 2nd cover boy went down with an injury.
Chauncey Washington went down in practice with a shoulder injury and will likely be out a few weeks. Conquest Chronicles says it's not too serious.
Good thing running backs grow on trees in the Land of Troy. Just as a precaution, thought, I'd leave C.J. Gable out of full contact practice drills for the next week. SI might sneak out of nowhere and jack him up.
