Mandatory Credit: Soobum Im-USA TODAY SportsAfter searching for a home in the NBA, Antawn Jamison has signed with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Earlier in the offseason, the team told Jamison that they were leaning toward signing Lamar Odom instead of the former Los Angeles Laker, but in light of Odom's recent transgressions, they've gone with the safer choice.

There was also the issue of Odom wanting more than the veterans minimum that they were going to give him, however, Jamison had no problem with that.

Antawn Jamison's deal with the Clippers is for one year at the veteran minimum.

He'll no doubt help the Clips, especially with a coach who will give him more consistent minutes like Doc Rivers. That was definitely an issue last season when Jamison sat for long stretches with no explanation.

This should be a pretty good match, as long as they aren't looking to him for defense.
