For whatever reason an ongoing conversation this NFL offseason is whether or not a player could outrun a bear in the kick return format. So yes, envision a bear kicking off to Antwaan Randle El and then chasing him down. Could Randle El get past the bear?
ESPN's Tim Kurkjian who may have started this whole ridiculous topic, is adamant that any speedy skill player could get his Devin Hester on and prance into the end zone. A "bear expert" believes the beast would win this battle based on the rationalization that a bear can run 35 mph while the fastest human has only topped out at 27 mph.
According to No-Offseason Randle El told ESPN News that he can indeed "outrun a bear."
I think it's pretty clear we need to see this in action, and place wagers on how fast Daniel Snyder signs the bear to a $100 million contract.
