Are El Shaarawy's world cup hopes alive again after more Giuseppe Rossi injury news?
So this raises the question if AC Milan Star Stephan El Shaarawy can make a comeback in time if Rossi does need ACL Surgery. Stephan has missed the almost all of the 2013-14 campaign for AC Milan after lighting up Serie A last season. The pharaoh has recently underwent surgery on his injured foot and will keep him out of action until Mid-March.
So if he would return to action and start to play well for Milan would this let him acquire a spot for the Azzuri if in fact Rossi needs surgery? It will most certainly be very tough for SES to acquire his form from last season but it might not take all that much seeing as there aren't many convincing and experienced forwards lined up to help Mario Balotelli. Stephan could be that man if he scores maybe around 5-8 goals for Milan and looks good enough to actually contribute to the National Squad.
Either way I do think that one of these two players will be traveling to Brazil this summer the question remains who.
Who do you think will make it? And does El Shaarawy have what it takes to perform these last three months of the season? Let me know what you think!
