Hey, at least Ted Lilly isn't a head case or anything. He made Rex Grossman look like the epitome of calm and collective tonight.
This will be short and sweet. The Diamondbacks have chosen to hit the baseball, go figure, while the Cubs are waiting around for the experts picking them to win to contribute. Geovany Soto, who's played all of 20 games this season, has been the most valuable player for the Chicago. (unspeakable words)
Wake up, Cubbies. It's not like you get this opportunity all that often. The Wrigley faithful won't allow the Aramis and Co. to fall asleep Saturday, so hopefully we'll still get a series out of this.
In the meantime, I'm just going to keep reminding myself that the Red Sox trailed 0-3 once during their own "curse" breaking run to the World Series. (I know, I'm laughing too, but cursing mostly)
