Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson will not play against No. 1 Alabama tomorrow, reported a local sports talk show host via Twitter less than two hours ago.
Wilson suffered a head injury in last week's shocking upset loss to Louisiana-Monroe and had to be hospitalized. Many were hoping he'd be ready to go by Saturday, but the realists had already moved on.
Still, there's an ounce of life left in hopes that Wilson will play: CBS' Tracy Wolfson tweeted moments after Bo Mattingly saying that coach John L. Smith had stated Wilson will be a game-time decision.
Either way, redshirt freshman Brandon Allen or junior Brandon Mitchell are prepared to start. Not that it matters to much though — the Tide haven't been too friendly to opposing quarterbacks this season (sorry Denard).
